Hello from Christchurch New Zealand 🙂 I have been reading what information there is on site regarding your story and I am truly inspired. My husband and I (and our two boys Liam 15, Eli 5) have followed a calling from God from Australia to NZ in the past 6 months and just recently He has begun stirring our hearts for the people of Cambodia. Our church (Grace Vineyard) is assisting in planting a local church in the country also. I have been voraciously scouring the net, hungrily seeking to know the Khmer people more and more, and the more I see the more my heart aches to serve these amazing people, especially the children. I have worked and volunteered in the arena of social justice for nearly 20 years, in child protection and homelessness in particular and feel strongly that God has been preparing us for service for a long time. In all honesty we truly do not know all of God’s plans for us yet and we certainly do not want to preempt or attempt to ‘rationalise’ His plans for us so we are praying and seeking His presence, will and our obedience. However, my spirit feels an innate connection to you both and your incredible commitment, passion, obedience and service to these beautiful children. We will most certainly be praying into your family and in particular the ongoing legal and medical challenges that you have highlighted on your blog. Sending you blessings, love and the incredible favour and grace of our amazing Lord Jesus Christ. Love Scott, Toni, Liam and Eli Johnson. xxxx
