Updates from the Wells Family

Cambodian Harvest Jan-Mar 2013

The past three months have flown by! In January, we celebrated three years serving in Cambodia as a family. We were then blessed in February to have Nathan’s brother’s family and his dad and mom visit us. It was a sweet time of seeing cousins playing together and spending quality time as a family. We…

Merry Christmas from the Wells Family!

Merry Christmas! It’s been a wonderful December, full of blessings and encouragement. We pray that you have a wonderful Christmas as we remember the birth of our Savior! Bora and I had the opportunity to attend the Master’s Academy International’s Asia/Pacific Symposium in Singapore in early December. It was wonderful to reunite with classmates and…

Cambodian Harvest Sept-Oct 2012

Early in October the ACTION Cambodia team participated in Crossing Cultures International’s Expository Preaching seminar, headed by our teammate, Kit Putrakul. It was wonderful to take part in the training of pastors on a larger scale. I ran a preaching lab where ten of the participants practiced preaching and then were encouraged and critiqued.

Cambodian Harvest July-Aug 2012

It’s been a busy couple of months! In June, we had a team from the Master’s College come out and serve for five weeks. They traveled to quite a few places in Cambodia and I joined them, along with my teammate BJ Lopez, in Preah Vihear (northern Cambodia) to minister with Pastor Somul’s church (He…

I also taught two sessions on how to study the Bible—particulary on the relationship…

Cambodian Harvest Dec 2011

What is Christmas all about? In Cambodia, very few know the true meaning of Christmas, but many are interested.  This gives us a unique opportunity for the Gospel because we know what Christmas is about! The Shalom Churches (our ministry partners) have a Christmas outreach every year, targeting non-believers who are interested in hearing more…

Cambodian Harvest November 2011

We’ve arrived in Cambodia safe and sound, praise the Lord! The flight was uneventful (apart from a brief moment when I thought I had lost our passports), and the kids did great. We’ve been blessed to have Christiana’s mom here to help out during our transition back. Our first week flew by as we unpacked,…
