Most of our attention and focus has been spent on language and cultural study. In the midst of learning a new language we have been given countless ministry opportunities. We have learned that we must be diligent in our learning because it is vital that Cambodian Christians hear the Gospel and have solid biblical resources in their native language to grow in their faith. Romans 10:17( ESV) states: “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” Please keep us in prayer regarding our new language as we strive toward fluency. Read more…

BJ and Andrea serve the Khmer people of Cambodia in southeast Asia. They are working to provide Biblical resources, training, and one-on-one discipleship to Cambodian believers for the purpose of making Christ known throughout the world. They have started a family style discipleship home called Mordecai’s Courage where they have taken in seven Cambodian children, Tabitha, Borei, Ponleu, Tola, Eat, Wejeka & Sarah. They recently took in two baby boys, Judah and Boaz.
