Lopez Cambodian Update

Categories: Updates from the Lopez Family

Greetings Family & Friends,

We just wanted to give you all a quick update in the ministry that we labor together in for the glory of GOD! We hope you are encouraged in the Lord!

Over this past weekend Andrea and I were blessed beyond measure in seeing one of our girls Borei enter the waters of baptism. She was one of the 4 who were chosen to give their testimony out of 21 people. She did an awesome job for a 13 year old. In fact, she went last and had everyone in tears. It was the 2nd annual baptism held by our home church (Shalom Church). I was blessed with the privilege of helping our pastor Chhinho with the baptism. He asked if I would pray for each person who was baptized and make sure nobody drowned in the process. We praise GOD for the work that HE is doing in the lives of so many in our church and throughout Cambodian. Please pray that God will increase the faith of all those who were baptized and for their courage as they interact with their Buddhist families and friends.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, NASB95)

To God be the glory,
Bj and Andrea Lopez
