Well, I’m back in LA and in the midst of a summer beginning Greek course! My time in Cambodia was such a blessing, I thank the Lord for allowing me to return for those few weeks before heading into my second year at seminary.
It was wonderful to be able to reconnect with the youth and adults at Shalom Church Phnom Penh, as well as many of the guys who used to live with me. Also, being able to see and participate in a youth camp with all the kids from Asian Hope (who attend Shalom Church Toul Kork), was a huge blessing.
In many ways it was hard for me to be in Cambodia, knowing that I would be leaving shortly (six weeks is not that long compared to three years!). But I was constantly reminded of the fact that it is the Lord who works and keeps His own and not me – He will be faithful to shepherd His children. And I look forward even more to the day when I can return back to Cambodia for long term ministry after completing seminary.
Thank you so much for your prayers for the trip and for your continued financial support – the Lord is faithful to provide for all our needs!

Have a wonderful day in the Lord,
“I will thank the Lord with all my heart! I will tell about all your amazing deeds! I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!” (Psalm 9:1-2)
