BJ & Andrea Cambodian Update

Categories: Updates from the Lopez Family

Dear Friends, We worship the King! There is no god like our God! He alone is worthy! We trust time finds you being fulfilled in all that the Lord has for you. We do! And more, sometimes! Over the past 3 years we have been working on the Magdalena film project by Jesus Film. After many hours of translating, editing and re-editing we are now actual working on the live recording.

Here is a brief description of the film:

The film, “Magdalena: Through Her Eyes,” is the true story of Jesus seen through the eyes of Mary Magdalene – a story of tenderness, freedom and purpose. “Magdalena” reveals what can happen when women refuse to live in defeat and choose to discover their real value. For the first time, we will have this film available in the Khmer Language. This remarkable film – created for women – gives a voice to one of the most complex and often misunderstood women of our past. Through Mary Magdalene’s eyes, we experience much more than just her own transformation by Jesus’ redemptive love.

mag3I continue to be amazed by all the hard work our team and all the actors have put into this project. Please pray for endurance and accuracy in our attempts to glorify our Lord through this project. Pray for some of the actors who do not know the Lord, but are hearing the gospel for the first time or again through their roles in the movie. Finally, I pray that you will rejoice with us as we complete this awesome media tool for the glory of GOD! We serve an awesome God!

“Lord, be merciful to us and bless us and look favorably on us so that YOUR NAME may be known among all people; Your saving health among all nations.” Psalm 67:1-2

To God be the glory,
