Merry Christmas from the Wells!

Categories: Updates from the Wells Family

Christmas greetings from our family to yours! We are settling into our little home in Morgan Hill, California, thankful for all that God has provided and accomplished. Our time on the East Coast was such a blessing, but we are grateful to be back in California and close to family during the Christmas season (our first time in four years!).

Our family is still facing some health issues, John with his rash and Christiana still feeling some effects of her stroke-like symptoms from May of last year. However, Nathan no longer has a cough and Paton just had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, which doctors hope will help with some of the health issues he has been facing over the years. We so appreciate your prayers for our family, specifically in this area of health!

Throughout the nation of Cambodia, Christmas is a special opportunity for the Gospel as many Cambodians are curious about the true meaning of Christmas. We’ve launched an ad campaign on Facebook with various blog articles on Christmas from (we’re on target to see over 10,000 page views this month!) and many churches will be having special evangelistic services throughout the nation. Please join us in prayer, that many would come to know the Savior this Christmas season.
Thank you for your prayers and continued support. May the Lord bless and keep you as you continue to serve Him.

Because He lives,
Nathan & Christiana
Ava, Paton, and John

Would you consider giving a special year-end gift to support our family and the ministry in Cambodia this Christmas? Each month we rely on the gifts of God’s people, especially as the year comes to a close. Thank you for your consideration and partnership in the Gospel! You can give online or by phone here or consider giving to one of the special projects below:

Our 2017 Christmas Wish-List

Printing Booklets

Four times a year we print booklets, with some of our most popular posts from Our desire is that by distributing these resources, Cambodian Christians will mature in their faith as they read articles founded solidly on God’s Word written by Christian authors such as John Piper, Tim Challies, Andrew Naselli and many more! But we need your help! In order to give these out for free we need to raise money to cover the cost of printing. Would you prayerfully consider being a part of this exciting project!

Translation Staff Salaries

We currently have three Cambodian staff members who work on our translation projects. You can be a part of supplying the support needed to support them, as well as enable us to hire additional staff so that we can increase our project output and see more Christian resources translated into Khmer to the glory of God.

Sponsor a Child’s Education

ACTION Cambodia currently sponsors 14 at-risk children to attend a local Christian school. These children live in an orphanage and most have been abandoned by their parents. The living situation is not the best, and we believe one of the main ways we can love these children is by providing them with high-quality Christian education, both to equip them for life here on earth, as well as sharing the light of the Gospel with them. Would you prayerfully consider being part of these children’s lives?
